Since working on someone else's demon alias, I thought it would be awesome to have a demon alternate version of my fursona and use it as an alias for electronic punk rock. My fursona(18+ she's nekkid) is a reindeer, and I found a wendigo to be a possibility, even though a wendigo can take on many forms, but I won't do much to it but make the legs more unguligrade, give it a demon tail, wings (not sure to go with bat or raven), and change the color scheme. In fact, I've even already made subtle jokes at the irony that venison meat is one of my favorites, making me an adorable cannibal, and wendigos are synonymous with cannibalism.
I also began to consider an angel alternate version to sate my conflicting desire to give my fursona little bird wings, and found that a peryton would be more than perfect for the part. I'll make the color scheme even more pastel, more soft pink and soft blue, some ribbons and bells, and woolier fur.
But here's where my problems come in:
The deer wendigo is a thing because of the 2001 movie Wendigo and the series Hannibal, of both I know nothing of (and I don't plan to watch either it because I think it will probably fuck me up). I'm not sure if it would be a very good thing to go along with- it's a principle of a thing, I guess. And where will my alternate versions come from? From an otherworldly portal? Do they even exist on a physical plane? Are they psychological projections? Are they the corny, cliched good and bad that sit on my shoulder? Do I transform into them? Should I keep their very existence and point of origin a complete mystery?

I think maybe an interesting concept to go with would maybe be like the wendigo could come out of shadows? Like it could become physical once it crosses from the other side. Maybe for a time it can only exist in shadows of things. It would be good to use because well think about it, since wendigos are long and thin by nature it would project well as a shadow (since shadows can also be long and thin).
