Well sorry to break the streak in this thread but I don't consider myself a furry, at least not fully??? Like none of my characters are animals and I never find myself looking through furry art, But well over half of the music I listen to is from the furry or somewhat-related pony fandom. Maybe I just have an identity crisis.
But yeah, I don't consider myself one. Sorry if this like...disappoints people or something.

So many furries here (I mean it was kind of obvious  ) None of my friends in real life know I am a furry but that's because they would probably think I am weird. It is kind of hard to hide though when your boyfriend is a furry, so I think they suspect it, especially when they look at my music choice xD

I consider myself a furry. Just not to many of my friends. I'm sorta in same way with K.rson. Pony fandom is something I don't really consider myself in though.

The real question is, who ISN'T a furry here? My friends are liberal and open-minded. None of them mind that I am a furry. I don't "come out" to them or anything. I don't treat it like it's a big deal, so they don't, either. I'm sure 99% know that I am a furry, though. Some of them like that about me.
But my family is a whole different story. The things they were saying about furries at a birthday party made me cry. Luckily, only close family know (except my parents because my mom almost took my computer away for posting fursuiter pics on facebook, and for now she thinks she's successfully veered me away from the demonic furries), but if they actually knew anything about furries, they would definitely know I was one. I post my furry art on facebook, but they are so ignorant that they don't even make the connection.

I'd say that I am...mostly. The idea is interesting to me, to say the least.
However, the concept of "furries" seems to be pretty underground here, so I'm not sure if my friends (or classmates, rather) will be open to it. It's not like it mostly matters, though; they don't ask if I am, anyway. Nor do my parents know or ask about it, either.
